After a talk with the "art director" we decided to narrow it down to a combination of 2 of the previous designs, which lead to these designs.

Hortugans character design 01

Started working on some character designs for a project. The characters from this world are called hortugans, and they are a combination of humans and turtles.
With this in mind, I made a few sketches of different combinations of human-turtles, each influenced by certain type of turtles.
